The College of Medicine of the Syrian International Private University for Science &

Technology occupies a respectful scientific position in the university and in the

community. This college although recently established, it proved its position through

receiving the first group of students in October 2005 and finishing successfully the

requirements of study in basic sciences.

        The college & its teaching staff will go forward to justify its esteemed goal in

preparing efficient physicians to serve their country and humanity as a whole.

        The study in this college lasts six years divided into 12 academic semesters, two

semesters per year. The study in the first two years will be concerned with basic

sciences which are essential for the medical student to be a physician in the future. The

third year will be concerned with pre- clinical sciences such as Pathology &

Pharmacology, whereas the last three years will be concerned with clinical sciences

such as internal medicine, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology and Pediatrics as

well as their subdivision such as ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology ….ect.

         The English language is the teaching language in this college. The college has

chosen this language intentionally because the physician needs it all the time in order to

consult the references concerning his study.

          The theoretical and practical curriculum has been carefully chosen to compete

with the teaching programs of other colleges in Syria and all over the world.

Finally we are confident that this college will be successful in its mission to serve

medicine and that its graduates will be successful in their practical life.
